Although I am both a big tulip fan, and someone originally from the west coast, I had never heard of Washington's Skagit Valley Tulip Festival before researching for this project. For background, this month long festival is the largest tulip festival in North America, and spans through the month of April every year. It includes visits to tulip fields, fairs, events, and contests. My goal with this project was to rebrand the tulip festival and give it a modern twist in hopes of attracting more visitors to the festival and popularizing the festival among people all over the country. I created a brand system, informational brochure, set of three posters, and a festival tour bus design.
