Terra Veil is a fragrance brand rooted in the scents of the natural world. All of Terra Veil's products are naturally derived. Terra Veil blends three aspects of nature into each of their scents: the flora, the earth, and the sea. For this branding project I created a logo mark, logo type, packaging for the fragrance bottle and box, a set of 6 advertisements, store assets, and an instagram page.

The Brand

I wanted the logo to feel both sophisticated and organic, and decided on combining one handwritten and one serif typeface to achieve that.

I wanted the logo to feel both sophisticated and organic, and decided on combining one handwritten and one serif typeface to achieve that.

Box and bottle packaging is simple and clear, yet includes organic floral shapes to connect the product back to nature. This image above showcases the front side of 3 boxes, each one being a different scent and using a different floral shape.

Terra Veil physical stores would be bright and simple. Interiors would be green and welcoming. Above is a mockup of the store front and product bag.

Advertisements

I wanted these advertisements to feel inviting, fresh, and modern, and I used lots of imagery to achieve an airy look. The imagery I chose relates to each scent described on the poster.

The target audience for Terra Veil is primarily women ages 20-30, and social media would be a focal connection point for advertising. In addition to photos of the natural world, I chose imagery of people to show customers how wearing the scents may make them feel.
